It's no wander that that there are a great many actors, writers, singers, and musicians. All artists in their own field. The world is quickly becoming full of people, each one with a slightly different need in entertainment. It's almost essential that they , these artists, are able to switch styles on the fly. Even more essential that they are good at it.
While browsing through the Music Videos button on the sight I came across a certain Shakira video . And like most people of my intelligence, the first thought I had was "Cool! Purple Hair!". That , and the fact that Shakira is one of the most talented singers I have ever had the opportunity to hear (and watch in her videos). At first , me not understanding a word of Spanish, I wasn't sure why I liked the song so much. After being drawn back to it, I realized that it wasn't just the words. But, more that her voice seemed to work so well with the music that it actually became a musical instrument above and beyond any thing that words could have meant. Taking the lead chair and standing out. Shakira seems to be able to sing a balled so soft that the relaxation she can create is ever so soothing. And turn around, in the next moment, and sing a song that can send the adrenaline through the roof. The video played and actually gave me, personally, a hint of the late 80's and early 90's and yet was more modern in it's structure. That! Took talent. With such a changing world she rides the wave of needs of so many in so many different languages, seemingly, with ease. Not only talent but the the beauty of an angle, I honestly believe that this young woman's voice will be heard and adored many, many, years to come.
